This game was so addictive I just bought the app! Great work.

Alright, for starters I get the whole parody thing. At first the conceptual design was funny, but the narrative gets rather repetitive quite quickly. Moving on, the control scheme was a little too clunky for my tasting, and the character seems to keep sliding in the direction of the arrow keys a few seconds after the key has been released. Unfortunately this caused the game to be less fun for me as it prevented me from getting passed the first level. All in all, great artwork, decent voice overs, less than "acceptable" controls. 3/5
Hello Team Bobo,
First off I would like to say how happy I am that this game is finally finished. You have granted us old-school gamers a chance to relive our past through 8-bit glory, all the while adding elements that are new and fresh to our favorite franchises of the NES era. Furthermore, this game runs flawless, yet continues to challenge our skills, even after replaying conquered levels. The mechanics are top-notch and fully function as they should throughout the classic games they represent. As for the story, I feel that it was executed brilliantly to mirror that of an original NES title. The only issue I have had while playing this game is the lack of a save option, but I guess this cartridge was not equipped with a save battery (wink). All in all, this game proves that the possibilities of classic 8-bit gaming and story telling are far from dead and I look forward to your next project. Great job! 5/5
P.S.
I know that feedback is very important to the development, as well as continued success, of games such as this. When you have finally decided the time to bring the next big game, and you are looking for suggestions for plot, characters, and/or story please let me know. I would love to contribute a few ideas just to see what your overall reactions will be. Many thanks, ESGEE.
Great game. Reminded me of the Atari era. It was simple, yet had a bit of a challenge. Especially if you died after hitting a checkpoint a while away, however, the gravity orb quickly made this less of a hassle throughout the rest of the play-through. The power-ups worked very well for this type of platformer adding new elements to gameplay. The only power-up that appeared useless ( due to how late you get it in the game) was the power orb. However this weapon proved useful during the boss battle. Furthermore, this game shows great promise, but, with a few new elements, mechanics, power-ups, and enemy classes I am sure you can produce an even better sequel. Great job! 5/5
"Near Death Experience!"
Okay, after careful consideration due to a lag issue yesterday I am happy to report that this game has pleased me on a true artistic level. The control scheme was flawless as was the game mechanics themselves. With that out of the way I have to say I'm astonished at how well using life and death as part of a mechanic for getting through levels has worked on this platformer. A very original idea that has worked well in a very few other games, (Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver), and the music fit the dark and dreary landscapes between the two realms. An instant favorite for me and for that I applaud you my friend. 5/5 10/10
Christmas crap!
The only fun thing about this game is that it's christmassy, and that isn't even a word. Good animation and fun combo skills but damn near impossible. 5/5 10/10 just because I'm in the Christmas-spirit. Keep up the good work and make something that I won't stop playing after five minutes.
"Epic Shooter"
At first I was like, 'not another lame Nyan ripoff,' but once I started I couldn't put my mouse down. Literally, my hand is cramped right now as I type this review. The graphics were very nostalgic to the old 8-bit game genre, the music as well. But where this game really shines is in the gameplay. Grabbing power-ups, causing explosions, and yes even flipping upside-down made this game an epic "shooter in the fray"! Every time I grabbed a sphere-bomb and a nuke I was dazzled by the wacky mayhem that ensued, just then my special would power up and before the bullets could die down I had rainbows dancing into enemies. Suddenly Pacman would join the battle while the screen flipped in circles leaving me in awe at the magnificent light show that stood before me. The only thing I can say that would make this game better is if you made it longer. What can I say man, I'M HUNGRY FOR MORE!!! Great upgrade system, awesome graphics, nostalgic soundtrack, and perfected gameplay makes this game an instant cult classic. 5/5 10/10
"Fishy Frenzy"
Great game. Not many bugs as far as I can tell, and the missions were challenging but at the same time reasonable. I especially enjoyed the addition of the giant islands. Now you have to use strategy when chasing down boats and people. The sea-doo took a couple of trys but I finally realized that it came in the beginning of the level. The upgrade system was flawless making your man-eating horde unstoppable. The only thing I can complain on is that this game needs more levels. After completing the game and killing the gator, I am left to just eat away again and again, which don't get me wrong is a fun time killer, but I now have 65 fish and was hoping for maybe another challenging boss. You know something like 5 gators or something. Great game though. 5/5 10/10
Spooky and Mysterious!
Short sweet and simple point and click adventure requiring you beat the clock. Great animation and music. I also enjoyed the tune from the record player. I only wish there was something menacing to try and kill me, but like you said you made this game just for the fun of it. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the great comment. Actually since the first game I wanted to add some kind of threat in the game, but left it more as an exploration only game. BUT, I am using the same format of this game to do a survival game, where the player is barricaded on a mansion, and its about moving to different rooms, and putting on defenses and backtracking until your have to do a last stand and fight against a horde of _______. Time will also be a factor. Thanks again. Glad you enjoyed it.
Hi, I like to dabble in writing, drawing, and music. Most of my submissions will most likely be comic strip parodies of my favorite video games. I hope you enjoy my work!
